Exchanging Friendship Bracelets

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Every week they post a new topic/top ten list and invite everyone to share their own answers. I'm so obsessed with lists - so it makes perfect sense that I'd love this feature!
from left to right:

Open Road Summer by Emery Lord
Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein
The Betsy-Tacy series by Maud Hart Lovelace
Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta
Anne of Green Gables series by L.M. Montgomery
Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
The Year of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty
The Christy Miller series by Robin Jones Gunn
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

  1. Oh, Fangirl! I included that on my TTT too - how could you not! They have such a great friendship, even if it didn't start out so great. I've seen Code Name Verity on a lot of lists, but I have yet to read it. Of course, people talking about how it made them cry their eyes out is a bit on the scary side when it comes to picking it up.

  3. I love Anne of Green Gables so I was so excited to see Anne & Diana make the list! I remember wanting my very own Diana when I was younger to reenact scenes from the book with.

  4. Sadly, I haven't read any of these books yet, though I really want to read some of them. I've heard really great things about the Throne of Glass series and I actually own the first book; I'm hoping to read it soon. The Daughter of Smoke and Bone series sounds really good as well. Great picks! I love your blog design. :)

  5. Your list gives me so many suggestions for what to read next, Hannah! Certainly Open Road Summer, Saving Francesca, Anne of Green Gables make my list. I've only read Code Name Verity and Daughter of Smoke & Bone and Fangirl from your list, but I definitely agree with all three of those!

  6. I knew I could count on you to include Diana and Anne! I loved their friendship when I was little, and if I reread the series now, I'm sure I'd still feel the same :D

  8. SHUT UP!! Ok. Christy Miller was my very favorite books growing up. (Todd=swoon. My sister and I would talk about finding our "Todd") I read that series probably 5 times. Also, Open Road Summer is a new fave. Note to self: finally read Fangirl

  9. Love the bracelets and so many of the friendships on this list! Reagan and Dee! Lydia, Emily and Cassie! Celaena and Nehemia! There aren't enough positive friendships in book and it makes me sad sometimes, but these stories make my heart fuller.
