So many of the things you mentioned just really bothered me. But reading your thoughts on the series and knowing it's one of the weakest makes me think it may actually be worth giving this series a second chance.Shoshanahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15707241263291051104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453643548383938123.post-23663385290258013892015-06-03T19:33:24.402-04:002015-06-03T19:33:24.402-04:00I picked Racing Savannah as the one Keneally book ...I picked Racing Savannah as the one Keneally book I could buy at a signing last year. Aren't they such great contemporary reads? I really enjoy how Miranda writes stories that are refreshing, authentic and populated with such great, complex characters. My top three, personally, are Stealing Parker, Breathe Annie Breathe and Jesse's Girl!Alexa S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13185723439360170259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453643548383938123.post-1914662121778653542015-05-28T22:36:44.584-04:002015-05-28T22:36:44.584-04:00I need to finish these!I need to finish these!Laura Masseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17771279160365775084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453643548383938123.post-80933595396121012182015-05-27T17:54:44.351-04:002015-05-27T17:54:44.351-04:00The only one I've read is Catching Jordan and ...The only one I've read is Catching Jordan and I felt similarly; I thought it was okay but something about the writing felt young while the material felt mature. Not one I would reread. But I keep hearing such good things about these books so I bought Stealing Parker to try and now I want to see about Breathe Annie Breathe! Did it feel similar to The Start of Me and You? Can't believe you read all 5 in a three day span, that's seriously impressive!Morgan @ The Bookish Beaglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05455877395068242798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453643548383938123.post-43307817657786998412015-05-27T12:19:38.672-04:002015-05-27T12:19:38.672-04:00Great post. I really enjoy this series and have already inhaled the latest in the Hundred Oaks bunch, Jesse's Girl (which was another great addition to the series). Racing Savannah is probably my favorite too.Rowenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15472559027348735571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453643548383938123.post-71395140126516891142015-05-27T08:58:08.580-04:002015-05-27T08:58:08.580-04:00I have read all of these books except Breathe Anni...I have read all of these books except Breathe Annie, Breathe and I loved them all. I do think the first book is the weakest but it is still enjoyable. My favourite one was definitely Racing Savannah! So glad you enjoyed it XD Lovely review! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
