That always helps me when I make these seasonal TBRs because I'm definitely a mood reader ;)

That being said, I am VERY excited for you to read Across A Star-Swept Sea because I loved it, and I hope you love it as much as I do! That's about all I remember haha, I've been wanting to read it again and finish the series. And I think I've had Daughter of the Forest on my actual shelf for 10 years. Shameful. Really need to read it.

Curious about First Impressions! I'll be looking for your review :) Looooved The Thirteenth Tale! Ironically an ex-boyfriend was the person who lent it to me and I devoured it. Eerie, gothic, atmospheric, perfect for fall. I still think about it quite often actually. And I LOVED Unspoken! Just got the third book in the mail, I'm excited/sad to finish the series!

Across a Star-Swept Sea is wonderful! Super different and fun, have you read For Darkness Shows the Stars? DO NOT read it if you're already sad. I loved it and have reread it several times, but it puts me in a FUNK for a few days. So it's amazing, but it's not fun. :) "The Thief," and the Fairyland books, however, ARE fun so you're alright there.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10721545187787639715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453643548383938123.post-27808764840813423522014-09-23T08:41:18.375-04:002014-09-23T08:41:18.375-04:00I'm currently in the middle of Seeing Me Naked...I'm currently in the middle of Seeing Me Naked and am loving it so far! It was my first of Setterfield's and I loved it. I know a lot of readers said her first was a lot better, so the second I finished reading I immediately went and bought The Thirteenth Tale. So looking forward to reading it and YES her books seem perfect for fall!

I'm curious what you think about Unspoken. I liked it (though be warned: it ends on a legit cliffhanger - middle of a scene kind of deal). I have yet to read the sequel though..

Yay backlists! Yay friends! My mom can't say enough about Into the Woods (she's a big Tana French fan too - you guys clearly know something I don't!) so she all but forced that book into my hands.
